OPENING DAY 2026

Edgemont Park - Montclair

We are excited to kick off Opening Day this Saturday, April 11th with a parade, carnival, baseball games, and community fun!

We are joined this year with our players and coaches in Montclair Rec Little League, Montclair Baseball & Softball Club, Montclair Rec Softball, and the Montclair Challenger Program.

If you're new to this annual event, Opening Day is our much-anticipated kick-off celebration—happening Saturday, April 11th at Edgemont Park. It’s a fun-filled day for families and baseball/softball fans, featuring:

• A parade of all our baseball and softball players and coaches

• Carnival games and festivities

• Multiple baseball games on two fields! 

• Food and snack tables (including pizza - pre-order here)

• Little League merchandise and swag

• Gear swap table 

• Team and individual photos

• A live performance by Hillside’s Drums of Thunder and the national anthem
